 Bob Staake no longer has an active account at Drawger. As you may know, Drawger is a subscription-based service and it could be that Bob Staake decided not to continue using Drawger. That's okay. People come and go over time.

My editor at Random House called to say that my new book, 'The Red Lemon' was selected to be part of Parade magazine's 2006 Christmas Gift Book Guide on December 10. i'll be honest, i haven't seen Parade since we cancelled the St.Louis Post-Dispatch (lovingly called the Post-Dogpatch) and started getting the Times. The only thing I care about is that Parade magazine's Sunday circulation is 35 million!!! WooooooooHOOOOOOOO!!! If only .001% of those people bought the book, I'd have a bestseller on my hands and i could retire or, at the very least, not have to break a sweat at the drawing table. Man, you can't buy this sort of free mega-editorial exposure. I take back EVERYTHING I ever said about print being dead.
