A fun one

I got a great call a few weeks back from Tommy Steele, the former Creative Director at Capitol Records.  He's been tasked with designing the next edition of the workbook and thought it might be fun for us to work together on one the divider pages.

The theme I was given was "Pearls of Wisdom".  The top image displayed here is the chosen solution.

 The lower image is included by Tommy's suggestion. It's very rough and unfinished but it's based on my odd method for getting my brain unstuck during concepting.  As odd as it sounds, I jump into my pool, blow all the air out of my lungs, and sink to the bottom.  It's quiet, cool and serene and does a great job of flushing-out all the clutter of the day.  (or maybe it's just part of my Pamela Anderson/lifeguard rescue fantasy).

Tommy Steele was fantastic to work for - talk about pearls of wisdom.  It was a dream fullfilled to finally work with him.
