Here is my lamp for the Enlighten "One Night of Lights" charity auction benefiting Inner-City Arts. I created this piece a while ago and I've always wanted to use it for something special. I used to do a lot of collage work and collected antique photos. During some rare free time, I created this Buzelli Family Portrait.

When I was in College, I actually taught a few summer art programs for Inner-City Arts in Providence. My illustration classes were filled with a lively group of elementary kids from Providence's lower income neighborhoods. It was one of my first stints at teaching and it was exhausting, eye-opening and extremely fulfilling. A great program!

The silent auction of table lamps by over 85 artists, including a few fellow drawgers, will be held tomorrow, Saturday Nov. 21 from 5-11pm in Culver City, CA. If you can't make it to the show, you can pre-order your lamp before the event. Tornado Design produced a limited edition of 3 each.
