Holiday Lies

Last week I got a call from the New York Times to illustrate their special Holiday edition for today's Styles section. They needed 6 illustrations for a collection of stories about "Holiday Lies" told by an amazing collection of writers. It was a marathon of non-stop painting this week. Six paintings in a week were more then I can usually handle but I just couldn't turn this one down, especially for a section cover of the New York Times.
