I've admired the power and uniqueness of Global Brief's
illustrated black covers for a while. "Old-New Webs of Relations" is an article about indigenous political philosophy having a resurgence in the 21st century. The writer talks about how indigenous people, prior to European settlement, had a quite sophisticated and cosmopolitan system of diplomacy and political negotiations. These traditions were based on "webs of relations" or the idea that we're all connected to each other and nature in balance.
Thank you to Louis Fishauf for giving me this opportunity.
