Good ol' Dave Plunkert organized an exhibit to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. Original drawings, paintings and (thank god) collages of a head have been donated by invited artists. I'm sure many here sent in work. Here's my little contribution.

Beware fellow illustrators. I completed this CD cover for an art music duo from France called Verone. We contracted for just the cover but in my delight in making the image I also made a back cover, inside pages and the disk art, gratis. They made dozens of demands ( such as do we really need the crocodile, can you move the pig a tiny bit, etc. annoying etc.) and I was very accommodating. After all the changes, they went back to my original, agreed to wire money into my acct. and would send me the ftp site for uploading the hires files. Then they did a 180 and said, you know, we've changed our minds and don't want it and thank you for your understanding, but we will pay nothing, since we're not using it. AAAAAAAAAAArgh. Beware, brothers and sisters, beware.
I'M NAKED. YOU'LL HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT.

OK, So I'm not coming to NY for the Society of Illustrators thing. I can't stand a room full of drunken illustrators sucking up to art directors and passing out business cards. I don't even HAVE a business card to pass around. Maybe I should open a competition, trade a nice piece o'art for one?

Hope to see you Friday. Oh wait...I wont' be there.

I'm very pleased to be honored by the Society and regret not being able to attend. I am under house arrest.

Oh yeah, and Peggy Roalf asked me a bunch of questions I've been dying to ask myself >>>>>
