It is for a book of poetry titled- "Through a Gate of Trees".
Part of my inspiration for this cover was the "circus trees". These trees were shaped by a S.F. bay area arborist from the 1940's to the 1960's, and are now on display at Bonfante Gardens in the south bay. Many of them perished but a few made it through...
