Don Kilpatrick III is Dianne Billstrom’s (author of You Can’t go to School Naked) son-in-law. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and a master’s in illustration from Syracuse University. He has created illustrations for advertising, design, editorial, and motion picture clients, and was involved in the design of the Olympic medal for the Winter Games in Salt Lake City. Don recently moved to Michigan with his family and began teaching illustration at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. This is his first book.
