The view of the bay from Sausalito. Note the Bay bridge in the distance..
I had a terrific day yesterday taking in the good weather and doing some drawing. My good friend, Vern Mercado, drove us to Sausalito to go and draw with Enrico Casarosa, Ronnie del Carmen, and the gang. We got there a bit early, the rest of the group took a ferry from San Francisco, and we all hiked around Sausalito with sketchbooks in hand.
I got to break in my new Isabey sabel round watercolor brush along with breaking out the NY central mop wash brushes that I love. I did most of my figure drawing on the ferry and train ride home back over to the east bay.
You couldn't have asked for better weather!!
