It has been an eventful two weeks. I have been to New York, Connecticut, and Indiana in this two-week span. I will be heading back to New York this upcoming Thursday.

Last weekend I was in New York for the Society show opening. I had the pleasure of meeting some drawgers for the first time, and seeing old friends again. Peter and Nicole Cusack are some of the best friends a guy can have, and they were kind enough to let me crash at their place again. I left on Monday, and Peter came out here this past Wednesday to demo and lecture to my students…. more on that later…

Like always, I wasn’t able to talk or meet up with everyone I had intended, but I will be there later this week with a group of my students so I hope to meet up with those of you I missed this past week.

I did, however, get to spend some good time with Peter and Nancy. Spoke with Brad at the Society for a couple of hours, and left wanting to read Arthur Koestler’s “The Sleepwalkers” – a book he highly recommended I check out. I tried reading Koestler’s “The Act of Creation” about ten years ago and I haven’t been able to retain most of what I had read.

Indiana was great. I drove down yesterday, and drove back today. A quick visit. I have family that live just outside of Indianapolis. Before yesterday I hadn’t done the road trip thing yet in my new car. It was a fun trip in my little Scion Xa. I love this little car, it gets 38 mpg!

A beaut of a sign that is on the outskirts of Indianapolis. I wanted my set of socket wrenches....took the pic instead...
