The view from Fillmore street.
Sketchcrawl is an all day life drawing session, the brain child of Pixar story artist Enrico Casarosa. I have attended three of these, and always have an enjoyable time. Usually everyone meets in the morning at some location in San Francisco, then we all go sketching along a determined path. This past saturday we walked down Fillmore street towards the Marina, and ended up at the Palace of Fine Arts. It was a clear day, and i was able to relax and take my time with a beautiful view of the marina and the Golden Gate bridge.
I used my NY central wash mop watercolor brush that i bought in New York a couple of weeks back. It is the only mop wash brush that i have found that keeps a point. I bought a 1/2 and a 3/4 for larger areas.
The fountain pen that i ordered from richardspens.com is turning out to be a great pen, and after breaking it in on saturday, i will not go back to the packs of cheap pens from staples anymore. A big thanks to Elwood for sharing your information on fountain pens!
