My Face - A Panoramic View.
posted:
I remember a while back seeing the x-ray of a dog. It escapes me at the moment which drawger posted it, but I love x-ray images. Being in pain, I lucked out yesterday by getting in to see the dentist. They even made a copy of a panoramic x-ray of my jaw! As you can see from the scan, I have screws in both sides of my jaw. That is the result of a car wreck, and 10 hours of surgery to put my jaw all back in order. This reconstructive jaw surgery happened when i was 12, so anytime I get any sort of pain in that general area, I transform into that 12 year old kid, and all kinds of "what-ifs" creep into my mind. As it turned out, it wasn't anything to do with having had jaw surgery, I only needed a root canal. I have found out that a root canal isn't as painful as I had imagined, I didn't feel a thing. It was as if I went in for a filling. No pain. The best thing is that I feel like getting back to my paintings. Thank you everyone for your comments on my Birdhaus image!
