Experiments

This is an assignment I did for a book review.  The book documents the history of medical experiments on African Americans in the United States from the period of slavery to today.  Included, are mentions of the Tuskeegee Air Men.
I did a sketch a while ago for another assignment on youth detention which I liked.  It was of a  teen sitting in a prison cube.  I reworked the sketch and put it in the mix and the art director liked it as well, so we went with it.
When appropriate, I've been trying some new things, breaking apart the linework, having some cut and pasted elements, etc.   This assignment seemed like a good opportunity to try some of this.  The set of sketches are below.
