I'll be signing copies of SERGIO Makes a Splash! this Saturday, May 31, at Books of Wonder in NYC, 12-2pm.  18 West 18th Street, NY, NY 10011 (212) 989-3270.  This is a picture book event with other authors and artists all presenting our new picture books (Dianne Goode, Deb Lucke, Raina Moore, Kelly Murpy, Nancy Tufari, and Matthew Van Fleet). Please Drop by if you're in the area.

In other news, I just found out that Sergio will be published in French!  A book publisher in Paris is picking it up for Spring 2009, looking forward to getting a copy of that.

I've been having a lot of fun at book events.  It feels great to hear the kids laughing at the story and to see them draw their own version of the character.  Some pictures and drawings from a recent visit to my daughter's school are below.  The entire class was terrific!
The publisher sent me this Sergio beach towel they did as a promotional item. Pretty cool !
