These are some quickie sketches I did this afternoon for Leanne Shapton at The New York Times Op Ed on the day's events—Obama stadium speech wind down/Palin VP selection.  In the end we went with the image below, the intersection of events being a turning point for both parties.
Sarah Palin of Alaska, huh?   This election gets more and more interesting all the time.
