Ad for J.J. Sedelmaier Animation Studio by Goldin
I first met J.J. working at the Ink Tank. In the late 80's he moved on to form his own animation studio. I think I did my first spot on an animated commercial with him. It was for a bank ad. A guy is in an elevator... voice over is talking about interest rates going lower and lower. This part was done I think by Lee Lorenz. Then the voice over says "interest rates are so low..." Elevator doors open... Now comes my stuff... animated demons dancing in a circle around a big devil. I think it lasted about 0.3 seconds.
I get it... the elevator went so low it's in Hell. Well, well, well, I'm still wondering why they didn't make a sequel.
