The recent binder business had me thinking of a few visuals, mainly inspired by some of the clearly disrespectful rhetoric coming out of the Republican party, the whole "legitimate rape" bullshit etc. The binder is just a convenient graphic image, though Romney prominently displayed his attitude towards women in that short blunder during the debate. Clearly I've been drawing too many circuit boards and it has been way too long since I have done any OpEd work. The message if read correctly is supposed to be one of direspect for women and women's rights. What I really want to do and haven't yet pulled it off is to have one of the covers look like black rubber stretched over a female figure who's kind of trapped in the book. Maybe tomorrow.
