Jessica Hische no longer has an active account at Drawger. As you may know, Drawger is a subscription-based service and it could be that Jessica Hische decided not to continue using Drawger. That's okay. People come and go over time.

Woah!!! Brand new Website!
posted: December 7, 2009
Exciting News! I just launched a totally brand new (far easier to navigate) website today! The new website features an integrated blog, separate type, design, and illustration galleries, a store, and a wayyyy too comprehensive FAQ section. There is a TON of new work and the best part is that it is easy for me to update so I won't have to wait until the next site redesign to put new work up (which is always what seems to happen). Wooo!!
Pencil Factory Newsprint Project
posted: November 20, 2009
The Pencil Factory, for those not familiar, is a building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in which some serious talent practices their craft. As much as DUMBO is the "digital hub" of Brooklyn, I think Greenpoint must be the illustration hub. Jennifer Daniel and Josh Cochran (two current residents and mega-talents) have organized a fun project for current pencil factory residents and friends / alumni called "15 Uses for Newsprint". This printed promo features full page work by Sam Weber, Jillian Tamaki, Josh Cochran, Christopher Silas Neal, Lief Parsons, Kim Bost, Jennifer Daniel, Gilbert Ford, Grady McFerrin, Ted McGrath, Alex Eben Meyer, Rachel Salomon, Joel Speasmaker, and yours truly. They are to be sent out to some lucky art directors, but are also for sale to the general public for the teensy cost of $10.
Visit thepencilfactory.org to see the full project and to order yourself a copy! How to Draw an A
