Seems like an appropo follow-up to the dog day switcheroo: from Sunday’s Los Angeles Times, a celebration of the Lout as the NEW masculine icon.  Although I’m not a sportsman [I always end up saying that!] I did relate a bit.  It’s back to the old way for the new way!!  Boys who never "grow up"!  I couldn't get Josh Brolin out of my head. And from New Orleans, Nine is a music CD based on a book featuring nine people from the hard hit Ninth Ward talking about recovering from Katrina.  I thought of it as music from underwater!

Livin' the Good Life
I typically shy away from graphic design but a friend who is a skilled, locavore foodie and host of superb, underground dinners featuring wood fired pizzas [he built the cobb oven himself] and awesome other stuff, asked me to do a graphic treatment for him.  The Robin and Rose [his children came up with the title] offers hand made just about everything, from cheeses and sour creams [from Daisy, the neighbor's cow], truffles, even the cherries in the dessert grew on the premises!!  This weekend, they even offered a handcrafted Stout that was really awesome! But, it's all on the QT!

BTW/FYI: This is IKO.  She has been my constant companion for 18 years next month!  She's heard and seen a lot of shit.
