You may have heard of him from a recent NEW YORKER article. He has been rescued by Sean Casey after being sighted repeatedly throughout Prospect Park since 2006. Casey probably left him alone since he seemed to be thriving. However recently he was behaving such that suggest health problems. He is getting proper care now. As I've said here before, I'm working on "Brooklyn Rescued Bestiary", an art book featuring Casey and the animals he has rescued. The designer Virginia Cahill went to see Ghost Dog and described him as having the sweetest disposition.
