Angela Morris at the WSJ asked me to do a piece on Victorian author Robert Burton and his book "the Anatomy of Melancholy". I thought that the "engraving like" scratchboard would better serve and I was fortunate to find an old, high quality piece buried in my things. It was fun drawing in this stuff again and a pleasure not to struggle with my materials. I had given up on this stuff a time after Essdee's product was reformulated and became unworkable.
