The Museum of Modern Art 11 West 53 Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues Conversations with Contemporary Artists: The Family Edition Saturdays, 1:00–2:00 p.m. Celeste Bartos Theater April 14 2007 Stephen Kroninger cuts up photographic images, often from the pages of magazines, to create his collages. His work combines the art-historical tradition of “drawing with scissors” with the spontaneity and vitality of improvisational music. For children ages seven to fourteen and their adult companions Children and adults are offered the opportunity to express their ideas about what they see in slide and video presentations given by artists, as well as to ask questions about art-making techniques and materials and artistic inspiration. Admission is free. Pre-registration is required. MoMA Pre-registration
