Painting big and slow
posted:
Sometimes it feels like the size of my illustration work is limited by what can fit on my flatbed scanner. Its nice to break out and work on a painting that is larger and takes up to a month to complete. Here is a painting that I just finished based on a sketch of a street scene that I did in Paris last summer. The size of the canvas is about four and a half feet high by a foot and a half wide This is my first experiment with acrylic paints.
