I was invited to speak at PechaKucha Night, Buenos Aires June 30th, 2009 by May Groppo from Paste.  It was a great time with awesome presenters.  Muy Buena Onda!

My Spanish is horrible .. so what is the logical thing to do .. go give a lecture to 400 people plus in Spanish. I am explaing how I was jealous of this Parrot when I first arrived to South America because he was saying words I couldn't understand .. his Spanish was better than mine.

Hola Amiga was a zine I created when I was still working as an art director fantasizing about being an illustrator.

It's no secret .. I love hand lettering

... I am color blind

I love patterns

showing my magnet wall where I put photos, ideas, and anything else that inspires me ... basically what it would look like if someone threw my brain against a wall

To quote Brian .. If I had doubts before .. now I can be sure my art is full of shit

If you live in Denver keep an eye out for two new outer-space theme Reading Rocket bookmobiles. The fun and colorful bookmobiles were created through generous funding by Janus Mutual Funds for the Denver public library system to encourage reading and literacy in children. The first over-sized van hit the road a few weeks ago and will be followed by a second in April with a different funky space-age design. The trucks will deliver books to children at different locations throughout the city including a number of area public schools.
