This was for Slate.com for a piece about the old saw- "Can men and women ever truly be friends?" I don't do sketches for Slate- there isn't time, my deadlines are three hours or less. Once or twice a year, I get one tossed back at me. The editors here thought that the bed was too loaded- but they liked the expressions- just wanted a couch. A little surgery- and there you go- to press, er post.
