While carrying me over a mud puddle, my albino man servant, Olaf, told me the good news- the book "Grubtown Tales- Stinking Rich and Just Plain Stinky" won the 2009 Roald Dahl Funny Prize in the age 7+ category. Nice!
When told that his book won, the author, Philip Ardagh quipped, "It was an extraordinarily strong shortlist and I really didn't expect to win. Except that my book is better than theirs." The guy just makes me laugh. I am honored to be a part of Philip's success and am enjoying making pictures for his outrageously funny books.
