Hoping to get some gallery interest
posted:
For a while now I've been trying to get together some paintings to shop around to galleries in the hopes to get into a group show.   Most of these works are based on The Spanish Galician fisherman culture.  In this piece however, I wanted to bring to light something else you wouldn't expect to find in Spanish culture...  and that's the bagpipes.   It's a heritage you don't find anywhere else in Spain but for that region and that could be attributed to the Celtic invasion there thousands of years ago.  Even before the Romans.  They play and dance very similar to Scottish and Irish cultures.   I have a few more ideas for paintings on this theme but they'll likely include dancers.

Here's the painting and some close up of the details
