The Fishing Trap
This was finished just recently as part of the group of paintings (like the one I posted yesterday) that I'm getting together to shop around for a gallery who'll put me in a group show. I've been trying to keep everything within the 30 x 40 range because I'd like to know I could sell something that size before I'd consider painting bigger. Stretching anything beyond 30 x 40 is a real pain in my ass.
These Spanish fisherman weren't exactly the warmest fellows and I'm grateful that they didn't throw that mallet at me when they asked me to leave them alone.
