Here are a few preliminary (in progress) pieces that I've been working on for an exhibit coming up on Sept. 8th at .NO Gallery http://www.no-in-nyc.org/ at 251 E Houston St. I have been creating these dragster type characters, with the main goal to be animating them, but I thought these print pieces were looking good. I plan to show the actual sculptures, animation, and still images.
With the animation, I'm playing with incorporating live action eyes, arms, hands, etc into these characters, which is why his eyes are blank in the bottom piece.
