Barometers
posted:
As a professional artist it has been my experience that we are the barometers of economic health and the first in economic casualties and the first in the recovery. Is the economy picking up?,  I think that it is. I know a concrete contractor who hadn't had a call in 6 months and is now swamped pouring foundations and sidewalks. What does concrete have to do with art?, everything!.  I have had the recent good fortune to sell 3 of these works on paper this month so I made several more and you can see that I have no problem with repeating or plagiarizing myself. The economy is picking up folks so get out there and make some images.
