Saturday Sunset

It's been a few weeks since my last post.  I've been busy with some jobs and now we're in mid-semester with my students so I am giving a bunch of them the 'ole 'straighten your ass out' talk...the one's that are not doing too well.

Anyway, my weeks have been full and tough for the last couple of months and I *SO* enjoy my Saturdays because it is the only day I get to sleep in and just 'shut down' for a while.  Watch TV, read, draw for myself and decompress.  I love cooking so the weekend is when I create some fabulous meals too!

I am usually a little more grateful for certain things in life but, as we all know, life gets in the way of being grateful sometimes.  One of the things in life that I usually take the time out for everyday is a sunset.

Saturday evening, I looked out my window and this is what I saw.  It is a daily occurance but most times lately I am not here for it or just plain forget to look out the window.  I live on the top floor of an old walk-up facing west so I get to look over all the treetops in town and see this.
