I was happy to be invited by Gallery Nucleus to participate in a group show called 'All Together Now: A Tribute to the Beatles'. Being a musician, I've always linked making/listening to music and making art together and it's always a form of inspiration for me. Music is constantly being played in the studio.

I did some portraits initially (right). I liked how they turned out and straight up portraits are nice but I wanted to explore the theme a bit deeper.

I decided instead to do a song-interpretation. Of the many amazing songs the Beatles have written and I considered like I Want You (She's So Heavy) and Helter Skelter, I chose Dear Prudence which is one of my all-time favorites.

I wanted to make the finished art visually abstract and sparce to coincide with the mood I get from the song along with visual homage to the White Album and a little bit of 60's psychedelia.
