SOI 54 Sequential

I could not make it to the Society of Illustrators this year and therefore asked my good friend and super star illustrator Chris Buzelli to give my speech for my gold medal in sequential categories.
 
Thank you so much Chris, it was a great honor to have you speak.
 
I wish to thank the Society of Illustrators and the jury members for this award.
Special Thanks go to Internazionale magazine and Giovanni De Mauro who commissioned this work.
Last thanks go to Mark Rothko who inspired me color and compositions.
 
I did the illustrations for the S. King short story “Herman Wouk Is Still Alive” based on a true dramatic news story happened in Fairfield, Maine:
