Le Vessel De La Fantastical France 1714 Combining both periods correct naval technology with what was attainable with the steam technology of the day gives us this “The Vessel De La Fantastical” Given both the size and weight of this design it was highly unlikely that it would ever even get off the ground. But despite all of the above this this was one of the King Louie’s favorite pieces. He loved it for its details and the elaborate ringing, and he felt certain that it would one day fly far into the mighty heavens above. Jules Gabriel Verne French: 8 February 1828 – 24 March 1905) was a French novelist, poet, and playwright. Verne was born to bourgeois parents in the seaport of Nantes, where he was trained to follow in his father's footsteps as a lawyer, but quit the profession early in life to write for magazines and the stage This is his “Victorian Six Pistol “ from the Jules Verne series Voyages extraordinaire, This is “The Green Blazer”, a six shot all electric Victorian handgun 1800 France. A rare combination of both decorative and functionality and a very powerful weapon as well. A true collectors item this Ray Gun was inspired by the work of British scientist Michael Faraday. Commando Cody Ray Gun 1952 Republic Pictures Commando Cody serials are sometimes confused with King of the Rocket Men (1949), because the rocket-powered flying suit and helmet costume worn by the title character Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe, which was later released (for union contractual reasons) to theaters also instead of TV. Republic, meanwhile, released both of these serials during 1953. Another 12-chapter Rocket Man movie serial, Zombies of the Stratosphere, was written as the direct sequel to Radar Men from the Moon But the name of the serial's main character was changed from Commando Cody to the more prosaic "Larry Martin" at the start of shooting. Bitter cold outside as the winter wind bows and howls hard on our front door, but finally we got some number seven hard coals delivered. And it’s now in our roaring main boiler, our new logo has Been very carefully brushed and glued up outside our main factory wall. And we are all warm and safe inside for the New Year and into full throttle passion creating The Top Secret New Series of Sculptures by Chris Spollen “Le Ray Guns De La Fantastical”, Life is good!
We are also frantically working in the wee hours of the morning to get our old printing press up and running. We are currently in the process of creating a limited edition hand signed and numbered art booklet. It will describe in wonderful detail each “Fantasy Ray Gun” its origins, dates, countries, and inventor’s, A rare piece to collect for sure. We just received news from our wireless Marconi room that The French Art community seems to be very interested in our new sculptures. Amazing!
Common Materials As recent as six years ago we would have to send our hose Dawn Company carts out into the dark and frigid early morning air in search of and desperate hopes of finding castaway materials, materials with which to create our now almost constant and-in ever demand sculptures. “Guns of Mass Imaginations” for example our new and current series. Now thanks to our dear friends and growing fans we have a rich assortment of amazing recyclable materials. And with the aide of our new boiler “The Edison” and a piled high bin full of number seven hard coal we can now melt and cast both glass and steel. Our creations have taken on a new light; the neighbors have grown a bit concerned however as thick and bilious white smoke arises from our shop pipes every predawn winter morning.
