Confessions of a Boggle Addict

APRIL 4, 2006
My friends think I have no vices. I don't drink, smoke, eat meat, inject steriods or suck caffeine. But they don't know about my current addiction to Boggle. I go to Boggle Meet-Ups and play with strangers once a month. (If you don't know about meetup.com, you should check it out. Any subject you are interested in, there is a group for it. You can go to meetings in other cities, too. It's great and makes the city seem friendlier. It isn't so much for meeting people, but for sharing interests.) Anyway, the greater time waster is weboggle, online Boggle. I've played for as long as six hours at a sitting. It's worse than staring at the screen over a deadline. Now I need to find a meet-up for recovering Boggle addicts, only I'm not ready to give it up yet. It has improved my touch typing..!!
I need a new screen name.
There are usually about 100 people playing at once online. (What's wrong with these people, don't they have anything better to do with their time..!!?) The best I ever did was to come in third. For some reason, it doesn't like Safari or the version of IE that I have, so I downloaded Firefox and it works using that browser.
