I was late to see Julian Schnabel's marvelous movie from last year,
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, but I was so moved by it that I had the urge to illustrate it. One of my oldest friends is loosing his battle to brain cancer and recently has lost the ability to talk; His only way to communicate is by moving his right arm. I wonder what's going through his head, I wonder what happens inside when he giggles or when he stares at the people around him. Time to read the book to know what
