Wall•E / oil / 14"x19"
Wall•E was one of my favorite movies of the year. So it was very exciting to get a call from Entertainment Weekly to illustrate Wall•E for their "Best and Worst" issue of 2008. Although it was a bit intimidating illustrating Wall•E. I struggled with the issue of how I could make Wall•E to look like my own. Lately, I've been trying to make parts of my paintings glow so I added a glowing flower to this one. It was an honor to be in this issue with so many amazing illustrators. And to top off such a cool project, one of the editors at EW purchased the original.
